I'm a huge cardmaking addict, so alot of the projects you see on my blog are cards, and I occasionally get emails from people asking how I did a particular technique. Wrapping Text to Shapes in Make the Cut! 3.2

Wow, it's been a while since I did a video, time for another one! :-) This tutorial shows you step by step how to use the new feature in MTC that wraps either text or shapes to a shape. By changing the shapes and text you use, as well as the way you weld or join shapes, you can create a lot of really fun effects! Designing Cards with Make the Cut! Part 2

In my last post, I promised pics of the card I designed with Make the Cut! as well as how I made it, so here goes. :-)First the pictures: And a close-up of the detail: And the instructions: To create the cutting file of the vine and bird, I imported a photo of the Cuttlebug Birds & Swirls embossing folder into Inkscape, then used the Inkscape tools to trace the pattern and create the shapes.
