Important Notice regarding Updates to Cricut Design Space
Posted by Nancy Murray on
If you are a Cricut Design Space user, you most likely are aware that they have recently updated the software. One of the changes was to restrict the size / complexity of individual files that can be uploaded. As a result, many of our patterns that were previously compatible with Cricut Design Space will no longer load.
We are in the process of updating our files to resolve this issue, however the patterns do need to be tested and updated one at a time, so it will take some time. As our patterns are updated and new zip files added to the store, an automatic email notification will be sent out to everyone who purchased that pattern in the new store. If you purchased a pattern in our old store and find that it no longer loads, please send an email including your order number to nancy@cre8ivecutz.com and the updated zip file will be emailed to you.
The new zip file will contain a folder called Cricut Design Space Files. Inside the folder you will find one or more SVG files that have been tested specifically for use in the new version of the software. You will need to load all the SVG files in this folder into Cricut Design Space in order to cut the full pattern. Once all the files are loaded you can resize as desired before cutting.
I will publish a video tutorial in the very near future that walks you through this process.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, as I know many of you are Cricut Design Space users. I will work to get older patterns updated as quickly as possible, and any new patterns that are released will be fully compatible.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me by using the form on the Contact Us page, or by email at nancy@cre8ivecutz.com.
