New! 3D SVG Picnic Basket Papercrafting Project

Posted by Nancy Murray on

Who is looking forward to long summer days and afternoon picnics in the park? I know I sure am!

Celebrate Summer in Style with this Cute Picnic Basket Project

I had a lot of fun designing this cute and functional Picnic Basket project. It features moveable handles, hinged lids that open, and a pretty ruffle around the outside, giving the impression of a quaint old-fashioned fabric lined basket. If you prefer, you can even switch out the paper ruffle for some lace trim for an even daintier look!

If made according to the size in the instructions, the finished Picnic Basket is 6.25" wide x 4.5" deep x 4" tall (16cm wide x 11.5cm deep x 10cm tall).

Compatible with Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio

For people with electronic cutters, the papercrafting pattern download includes SVG, MTC and PDF files. The file can be cut in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Make-the-Cut, Sure Cuts a Lot, and other cutter software that accepts any of these file types.

Score lines are included in the pattern for easy assembly (if you are using this file in Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio, simply convert the inside cut lines to score lines). The file cuts best on larger mats. Fully illustrated assembly instructions are included in the download.

For people without electronic cutters, a scissor cutting file in pdf is also included that can be printed on the 8 1/2 x 11" paper of your choice and cut using scissors or a craft knife.
